The hot texas summers!

Hazen loves to run through the sprinklers! We went to visit ray and jennifer and the other neighbor girls were running through the sprinklers. Hazen had to try it....even with his clothes on! He would get close to the sprinkler and then turn and run! We turned the sprinkler off and when hazen went right up to it ray turned it back on and got him! He squealed and ran back to me. Hazen is very comical. Interestingly enough though, he would NOT step in the mud.

MAYDAY MAYDAY!!

June 14th. the mayday team ran 72 miles around the whole lake tahoe. The brave runners were: Bill May, Shauna May, Randi May, Katie May, Mike Daniels, Kim Lee(family friend) and Ashley(randi's friend). We each ran a leg of the race and we finished in great time. My leg of the race had some amazing veiws!! I was the last one to run, and at one point at the summit of the mountain, there were cliffs on both sides of me with just a two lane road with no room outside the white line. I was a little nervous, but the cars were all nice to slow down and hug the inside line. It was a long day, but the team accomplished it! I never thought that I could run 10.5 miles!! Thanks to Randi for planting this little seed in our heads. It was a fun thing for the family to do together. I think I will take a while off though. I still have huge blisters on the balls of my feet!!

Fun at Lake Tahoe!

Lake Tahoe was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed seeing the whole may family for a few days. Jed was the only one missing. The lake was cold, but hazen still loved to play in the water and see the geese/ducks close up. We buried him and madax in the sand and they really liked it! After we helped them up out of their hole in the sand they plopped back down in it for a good seat for duck veiwing. Yes, we ran around the whole lake!!!

Trouble at Grandmas!

We spent all day cooking food and treats for our trip to lake tahoe and hazen found the bucket of flour. He scooped out the flour and threw it on the floor and then drove the bucket up and down the hall making tracks. Then he dusted off his hands..a job well done. A very funny sight. Grandma didn't even spank him...:)
